Saluting the nation and the spirit of great freedom fighters on the eve of its 73rd Independence Day, the management and faculty members of BVM (USN) celebrated the day with all its grandeur and fervor. The school wore a festive look with the tricolor display everywhere. The celebrations commenced with the lightning of ceremonial lamp seeking the blessings of Maa Saraswati. Maintaining the sovereignty and integrity of our motherland, venerate Sh. K.C. Maini Ji (Manager BVM, USN) and Sh. O.P. Sabharwal Ji (Member BVM Trust) accompanied by the Principal hoisted the National Flag and all in unison sang the melodious strains of National Anthem. It was followed by oath ceremony, when all the members of BVM family pledged to do their duties sincerely. It was followed by a speech by Mrs. Manjula (HOD English).She emphasized that being nation builders, it’s the responsibility of educators to sensitize the youth with life lessons of our rich culture, values and tradition and to build strong characters with endless love for their native land and its people. The musical choir of teachers expressed the joy of freedom and filled everyone with pure patriotism by singing a song ‘Mann Samarpit, Tann Samarpit’.
Speaking on this pious occasion the school Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi reminded the teachers of the sacrifices of our great nation heroes and urged them to serve motherland with heart, body and soul. She congratulated the Bhartiyans and said that as Indians, our obligation towards the mother country is to work whole-heartedly for the holistic growth of its future generations. It was a day of love and respect for our nation. The celebration culminated with Vande Matram.
